Okay, a few sudden Ed-sized rants here:

One would be people who write fiction without checking their sources, or write rants about others not checking sources while they also don't. DiZ from Kingdom Hearts II is Darkness in Zero, a pseudonym used by Ansem the Wise while he hid his identity for vengeance against the Organization XIII. Tetsuya Nomura left to the FFX-2 writer the job of writing the KH story and script, BARELY CONTRIBUTING WITH VAGUE IDEAS, because he was busy supervising the teams and coordonating their efforts.

Second, stop screwing with FMA, FF.Net writers! I'm barely in the bath on this fandom and it all makes me wanna grab armor!Al and slam my head against him while sobbing uncontrollably. Where do all the bad Elricest and Roy/Ed come from!? NO, SCRATCH THAT. WHERE THE FUCK DO THE ARMOR!AL RAPING ED AND THE ROY MARRYING ED COME FROM. ANd let's not approach the doujinshi about Alexander and Nina, and armor!Al and Nina, and then the KID Ed and Al pairings. Uuugh. And... Am I bad for picturing Ed as the seme with Roy? Or at least a really really pushy uke.

Third. All authors, if you DO NOT KNOW WHAT CANON, AU, OC AND OOC ARE, STOP WRITING UNTIL YOU DO! MY GOD! If I hear another badfic author go "what's canon, huuuuuur" I'm Ed-ing all over the entry.

I shouldn't be watching RE2's Survivor... With Tofu in it.

I'm scared the zombies are gonna come after me, and horribly amused by the "pwukpwuk" sounds that a giant block of tofu with disembodied hands and a blue S.T.A.R.S. berret makes. And the fact that there's apparently another tofu, purple this time and with a herb pouch, just makes me laugh despite being creeped out by the zombie groans.

Lack of ressources for aspiring writers

I couldn't find any "How to write a fighting scene" or even "examples of bad fighting scenes" or ANYTHING. Aaaand, apparently, only DragonBall Z doesn't go and write half-hearted stuff. A good, oh, 1/100th of the time.

And when it is, it's vague. I can't picture Goku NOT using the Kamehameha once. During a fight against Vegeta-sama, anyway. And likewise, in these "fights" Vegeta doesn't use his own techniques. They are only mentionned in passing as in "he did this attack that everyone know, because I'm too lazy to describe the preparation and build up for it". And that is a very lazy but common author fault.

In anything.

Come on. If I ever said "and Zero used his Command Arts to unleash Dragon Slashes one anfter another, finishing the flurry of with a Skull Crusher", I'd like Zero to give me the Flaming Boot of Red Rage right in my pretty fat cat face. That doesn't tell anyone who didn't play Command Mission (or anyone who wasn't crazy enough to do 999 successful hits with Zero's Command Arts to unlock Skull Crusher) WHAT the Skull Crusher is like! Is it an overhead slash? Is it a horizontal one? An arc? A combo all of its own?

...Well, I can't answer it yet. I'm not at 999 successful hits... But I feel it'll be unlocked before I can get the damn 16-hit combo force metal.

I need to practice my fighting skills a bit more, but I'll try to gather as many fight scenes I can. Can you guys all help me out and post links to any fight you encounter?

This is a call to arms.

Wargh. I wanted (and still want to) make a fighting doujinshi based on CM after you finish up the game...

And DAMNIT, I have not finished the game. I'm still trying to get the Zero Shift Force Metal recipe for Cinnamon to make it for me. Raaaagh.

So right now, the doujin is in hiatus until I've levelled up and collected all weapons. (This is why I love ... I can't say the name, but its the huge-ass trading sequence with the pickaxes and the four basements. The lots and lots of Gold and Silver Mettaurs/Metools/Mattocks/Hard-Hats. And I use Attractor and Zenny+ and the Beam Miracle for Marino. Lots of easy Zenny. Really. I get from 2000 to 8000+ Zenny in one single battle. IF THEY DON'T FUCKING RUN OFF.)

At least, this way, I'll know the Tails' speeches (if any...?), I'll see how they look (Sorry, Z... Ninja with Kitsune masks aren't detailed descriptions enough to draw them right) and see Zero's Red Lotus. ...That's a sword ladies and gents, not some new coy word synonym of any part of his anatomy. So I need to beat at least Fourtails ('cause this one drops the Red Lotus). But I'll probably have them by Tuesday/Wednesday.

For those of you who do read my LJ (that's what, 1 person? I can hope the other two read it from time to time!), that's a lot of ranting. I have to get it off my chest before I start ranting to Z about that over and over. XD

Right now I can input up to 14 successive Zero Slash commands, and I've uplocked his Zero Wave. Which takes 300 successful commands. Tells you how long I've tried getting the fucking sixteen ones. And all the damn time, I end up BARELY missing the sixteen commands because my game is retarded and it thinks I'm doing the Zero Dragon Slash (> v Diagonal->v X) rather than the simple (v > X) Zero Slash. I feel I'll get over 999 successful commands before I get sixteen in a row (And unlock Zero's Skull Crush move. Critical galore). Rrrr.

Marino's Emotional Reel is fully upgraded, and Massimo's Mash-the-buttons is super fun with the four whole bars. X3 Cinnamon's only got 9 hearts, but I think the tenth one comes with level 30, right? Walkthroughs are fuzzy about what level Cinnamon gets a new heart for Angelic Aide (AND DAMNIT PEOPLE "AIDE" IS THE ACTION WHEN YOU HELP SOMEONE OUT AND "AID" IS AN OBJECT THAT HELPS YOU!) so I can't state with certainty if Cinnamon gets it in one single level.

Next... I ran out of Hyper restore-thingies. Where are they!? I need 'em for Rafflesian and the Tails Clan!!! 'Cause I do NOT want Axl to run out of his four rounds of Stealth Mode and be left without anyone to heal. Hm, maybe I should stack the Reverses on Zero so the group heals him most of the time, and so I can spam Calamitous Arts.

Oh, yeah, let's talk about Calamitous Arts. People all around the net say the name sucks... In defense of Zero: The Tails Clan have "Anihilator Hadoken". We can let go of the odd, Final Fantasy-esque name (Collapse of Heaven and Earth is one of the FF's longest attack names.) and see the actual move, here. Now... People say it's ugly. It is NOT because it looks like Gospelboost it is ugly. It's awesome. Really, Capcom, you outdid yourselves on this one. See the details put into it? ...No? Oh. Okay.

Here they are. One, the wings actually flap and maintain Zero in mid-air. Then, Zero shifts his legs with each beat of his wings to stay balanced. We also have that little detail: Capcom could have just as easily simply added folded wings behind Zero's back and keep the same base animation as they did with X and his Hyper Modes. Then, they actually changed little details no one would see unless they went in Status in the menu and toggled Absolute Zero and watched him closely during the iddle animation. Make him face backward. Now, turn him slowly to one side so that you can see his back without the hair too much in the way. The blue thing? It's what supports his wings. NO ONE would have really noticed if it hadn't been there. But we can clearly (each time the hair lifts with a wing flap) see where the wings connect into the upper armor. And more obvious are his claws on his hands and boots. And then the wings that sprout from his helmet... It's totally not like I saw it the first five times. The helmet's still all there. The wings sprout out from the sides of it. You can even see the tiny tips of the helmet if you make him face you.

Back to the Calamitous Arts. I hear people bitch they can't do shit with him. ...Calamitous Arts is WATER-based, okay? No hitting water-elementals, please! Then, we have those who do no damage because they don't get what the hell they're supposed to do. These are total morons who don't deserve to have gained Black Zero. And neither do they deserve the Nova Armor, or, hell, even Marino and Axl's Action Triggers completed because they end up doing the Marino Stomp and the Axl... Uh... I don't even know its name because, I, unlike them, am good at commands. (I just remember he cries out "This one's for you!") Calamitous Arts is one of these ATs you'll want to wait until you have full WE to input in as many strikes as possible. I was, at level 27 with Zero, able to wear down Scarface in the range of a Final Strike in two turns. (And since I was using Cinnamon as Healer and X backing her with the Sub Tanks, Zero was my ONLY attack force.)

Aaah, I had to take the rage against those who hate Calamitous Arts for bad reasons out. Now, a good reason? Well... You're insane to hate Calamitous Arts, beside the fact it should've been goddamn non-elemental. But, however, you can dislike it if you're not quick at inputting the commands, unlike me. Or, you can hate Calamitous Arts because you also hate Zero. But, *GASP*, who would hate Zero!?

Okay, and now, I need to get a few more things off my chest in CM. Like the absurd Zero/Marino. What the hell? And ZWolf, kind as she is (I really like to think of it as kindly sharing rather than sharing to see if it's going to make me go insane) has given me one of the reasonings behind it. "They belong together, they're both ninja!!!" ...WFT!?

Sorry, Zero isn't a ninja. And if someone says that he IS because he's leader of the Special Forces Unit 0 (that's the Stealth Unit for those of you who didn't find a translation of Capcom's huge-ass book with lots of Rockman X info that wasn't put in the games)... I'm gonna choke him to death with his fucking "Nightmare Zero" figurine. (Oh, yeah. And guys, Zero's black armor is, simple as that, Black Zero. Not Nightmare or whatev'.)

Saying Zero and Marino belong together on these bases is as sane as saying that Zero kills Iris because she was between him and his unrequired love for Colonel. (Oooh, I can just see all of you shiver in disgust and have nightmares for weeks because I just said that.) Or like saying X and Axl are a couple because of the X8 ending. Hell, it's so romantic. X is holding an uncouncious Axl with one arm and aiming at Lumine with his buster. So. Fucking. Romantic.

Zero's not with Marino, and that's that. ...I can almost hear crazy people going "But it's FANFICTION! We can make them go together!" No, that's not fanfiction. That's putting Marino with Zero because Zero's cool, hot, and you'd like him as your boyfriend, and Marino... Marino has good looks and she can wear that skin-tight, revealing costume. In short, people write Zero/Marino because they're not stupid enough to put Mary Sues and Gary Stus in fics. Because the guys picture they're Zero, and the girls they're Marino, and they get the good-looking boyfriend/girlfriend.

Next will be tackled the Zero/Spider relationship. Zero's the charming badass who seems untouchable except for a select few. Spider's cool and charming in his own way (Bleh I can't believe I said that, I really hate him). And people go, "Hey, Zero respects Spider! I'm gunna write a fic where they have hot mansex together! Hur hur hur!" ...Sorry, but... Don't you already have enough mansex for the whole series with Zero and X? Honestly...

Zero was originally intended to be a girl. And X's love interest. Thankfully they changed it before the game was released. But the point is, Zero, regardless of gender, originally was X's love interest. The subtext still remains there to be used by yaoi fangirls. So it gives us a relationship that's never being clearly defined by Capcom as either being deep friendship and bortherly affection, or outright romatic interest. (I can hear the Zero/Iris fans howling here...) NO, it does not mean that if Zero and X are an item, the other relationship (Zero/Iris) is forgotten. Zero and Iris care for each other. More likely, they care for each other in a romantic way, but there's a slim possibility it's also deep friendship and sibling-like love. You can't use either of the relationships to debunk the other. Hell, both could be romantic and co-exist. (Oh, crap. I hope no one will read this and think "Zero/Iris/X!? Hell yeah!")

...Wow. That was a long rant. Anyway. These are my main peeves. ...Except the fact that the Absolute Zero Figure is exclusive to CM on the GameCube. Damnit. I wanted him to complete the Zero collection in my Sky Room. X3

Command Mission, Kingdom Hearts, and Kingdom Hearts II, all ready to rock my world on March 7th.

A possible Dark Cloud or Dark Cloud 2 might be added.

ANd I'll have one full month worth of locations. For one month, I will permanently have one game of my choice along with the PS2.

...I want Z and Saru and their psycho-Vegeta-ish laughing friend Liz to come to my house so that I can show my loserness at Sonic Rush, the DS game. XD

I'm worst than Z at her Megaman games.

I'm getting my net disconnected today. So no more online, no more Neopets, no more GameFAQs, no more Gaia Online, no more LiveJournal, and NO MORE TALKING WITH Z OR SARU.

She says I'll get the 'net back once I do my things... I don't think I'll do ANYTHING. I'll spend all of my energy singing-shouting my throat raw, crying all the tears I can, and play games.

I'm not hungry anymore. I put on that Az-makeup I was keeping, and I'm not ever eating again until I get the net back.

This is probably the last time I'll be able to go online for at least a month...
